How We Replace Your Roof

Seven steps, start to finish — your yard protected first, a premium Malarkey roof, and every last nail picked up before we leave.

Step by step

How does Hisway replace a roof?

The shingles matter, but so does everything under and around them. This is exactly how a Hisway replacement goes — the same way on every home.

  1. Step 1: Shrub Shields over your landscaping

Before anything else, we cover the bushes and beds around your home so nothing gets crushed or buried in debris.

  2. Step 2: A/C Shields on your units

Your condenser and outdoor units get covered and protected before the tear-off starts.

  3. Step 3: Catch-All tarps & poles

Tarps and standing poles catch the tear-off, so your yard, driveway, and siding stay clean.

  4. Step 4: Full tear-off to the deck

We strip the old roof completely, down to the wood. No roofing over the top of worn shingles.

  5. Step 5: Deck inspection & rotten wood replaced

With the roof open, we check the decking and replace any soft or rotten wood before we build on it.

  6. Step 6: New underlayment + Malarkey shingles

Fresh underlayment goes down, then your Malarkey shingles in the color you picked.

  7. Step 7: Magnet-wheel cleanup & final walkthrough

We pick up the tear-off by hand, run magnet wheels over the whole property for every last nail, then walk it with you.

What warranty comes with a Hisway roof?

Because Hisway is a Malarkey Certified Pro contractor, we register your new roof with Malarkey after the install — that registration is what unlocks Malarkey’s extended coverage. On top of it sits our own 50-year workmanship warranty.

The fine print, plainly

What does the warranty not cover?

Four straight answers, so nothing surprises you later.

What does the workmanship warranty not cover?

It doesn’t cover storm or severe-weather damage — that’s handled by your homeowner’s insurance carrier. The workmanship warranty covers how Hisway Roofing installed your roof.

Who covers a shingle material defect?

The shingle manufacturer covers material defects under its own product warranty, not the Hisway workmanship warranty.

How quickly do I need to report a problem?

Report any damage to Hisway Roofing within 7 days so it can be addressed under the warranty.

Can I transfer the warranty if I sell my home?

No — the workmanship warranty is non-transferable and stays with the original homeowner.

Clear terms, no surprises

How do you pay for your new roof?

Pay by ACH bank transfer with no fee, or by card with a 3% processing fee. We don’t take checks, and there’s no financing anywhere — no lenders, no interest, nothing tacked onto your price.
